Qualifications:

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the seven-point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

2. NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with Post Graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG level teaching only.

3. A relaxation of the minimum marks of the PG level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by UGC/CISR only prior to 1989 when the minimum marks required to appear for the JRF examination were 50%.

Notes:

1. C andidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should mention their category specifically in their application forms and attach certificate of proof from the competent authority.

2. The College reserves the right to change/alter the nature and number of post(s) and whether or not to fill any or all the posts advertised.

3. Candidates already in service should send their applications through proper channel.
